Didn’t think I could fall more in love with my Vibrams,

but i have.
They are seriously the best shoes I have ever owned.

Went hiking yesterday! and i’m definately feeling it today. I can barely move, work was literally painful. It’s worth it though.  Did 10 miles in all! whoooooo.

I hiked Mt. Flume via the Flume Slide trail, which i DONT RECOMMEND AT ALL.  HORRIBLE TRAIL. a mile of it was literally just steep wet rock.  I fell so many times, but i made it!

Then I crossed over a portion of the Franconia Ridge trail to get to Mt. Liberty, which was a breeze compared to the watery hell that is Flume.

Then back down to my car via the Liberty Spring trail.

All in all,
Started at 7:00
Hit Mt. Flume by 10:30
Mt. Liberty at 11:30
Back to the car at 2!
not bad at all!

Now i’m just lying on my yoga mat trying to stretch while watching The Longest Yard, which is hilarious by the way.

So excited for my next hike!

It’s all like a dream. Everything is ecstasy, inside. We just don’t know it because of our thinking-minds. But in our true blissful essence of mind is known that everything is alright forever and forever and forever. Close your eyes, let your hands and nerve-ends drop, stop breathing for 3 seconds, listen to the silence inside the illusion of the world, and you will remember the lesson you forgot, which was taught in immense milky way soft cloud innumerable worlds long ago and not even at all. It is all one vast awakened thing. I call it the golden eternity. It is perfect. We were never really born, we will never really die. It has nothing to do with the imaginary idea of a personal self, other selves, many selves everywhere: Self is only an idea, a mortal idea. That which passes into everything is one thing.

Jaehyo Lee.

Korean artist Jaehyo Lee is known for his comprehensive works made with organic materials found in nature. The contemporary artist’s pieces often utilize the natural media, reconfiguring their shape to create unnaturally manufactured creations. The works reflect the original elements’ beauty in a newly stylized form. From sculptural wood-based furniture to a series of suspended stone sculptures, which is what originally caught my eye, Lee exhibits an ability to manipulate nature and conform its construction into something new without losing the essence of the materials.

For over two decades, Lee has been constructing these labor-intensive rock installations, three-dimensionally composed into cylindrical shapes. The hanging stones are generally aligned in layers and serve as the contours or the negative space outlining the desired form. The illusionary structures present midair tunnels. There’s something very surreal and science fictional about the works that make it seem like a portal to a distant land is being assembled out of the earth. (by Pinar)

runningtowardsfit:

Yesterday I went on a run while tipsy.

That being said, it wasn’t my original intent. The plan was for me and my mom to go on a jog with my sister and my new nephew( him in a stroller of course). Well my mom got a really bad headache so we decided that we needed some shots.

I am a lightweight…

me and my best friend used to do this all the time.  Doing a few shots then heading to the gym was always a good time for us, made running on the treadmill fun! hahaha. the surprising this is, is that we always lasted longer at the gym after we had had a few.

ah i've seen him once before, but this time is going to be even better, I can feel it :) !!

each time is better the last hahah

i saw bassnectar last month and i’m like dying to see him again. so pissed that he’s playing in nyc which is 4 hours away from here and i couldn’t go.

gahhh

Feel like i’m hitting a rut,

so i’m going on another health kick hahaha.

I’m gonna try out Bikram and see if i can stick it out for the next 10 days, besides hiking days.  Gonna do a detox again and just see how i feel ya know?

For the time being I’m just working and mixing it up with hikes and shenanigans.

Things are finally getting settled now that i’m in my own place and can just, live.

Life is good man, life is good.
